I’ve been really busy lately. Yesterday I had to say goodbye to one of my dogs, Stix. I live with my Mum but Stix was my Dad’s dog, however we got Stix before they broke up, and I always made a point of giving him a cuddle when I went to see my Dad. He was a 12 and a half year old german shepherd, the most loyal dog in the world. Bear-like with his huge paws.. He always had a black spot, a birth mark, on his tongue that I remember from the first day I met him as a puppy. However, he was very ill and I had to say goodbye. I was with him, my hand on his chest, when he went to sleep for the last time, I cried, my Dad cried, but it was selfish of us to keep him with us.
Moving on from that, I’ve started working on my presentation, it’s due Wednesday morning. Wish me luck.

Right, other than all of that stuff, I’ve only just had a chance to upload some pictures I took last week of a couple of new bits. I’ve re-dyed my hair since taking the photos and I have some nice stuff coming soon so I’ll update later next week :)
I got this really, really nice lace-ruffle dress from Dorothy Perkins, it was hard to photograph so I will try again with my next post but this is it for now.
It’s really comfy and it looks great, I will get a lighter pic soon! Lace AND ruffles?! Dorothy Perkins, you spoil us.

This is an outfit I made up when I bought the shirt. I didn’t own any leggings so, using my swis army knife, I ripped some myself. Paired with the jacket and boots I think it’s kinda “Rock Chick” chique. If you’re going to rip your own leggings may I suggest that you don’t do it too much above the knee because they’re often tight on thighs and that can rip the fabric further when you put them on.
The top is nice and light, it’ll be great this spring.
Paired with the jacket it looks wicked. I think I’d wear a pencil/mini skirt with the leggings if I went out in public though.
And a close up :D

And last but not least, I caved in and bought myself some gladiator sandals!
I really like them, I was looking at “cage-y” shoes but the ones I can find are only high heels, and I can’t wear them :( So, these make a nice compromise. Will keep my feet stylish and cool in the summer!
