Sorry for the lack of posting, I’ve not been feeling great lately, so I really needed today. Dressing up and taking pictures while listening to “Fast Car” – Tracy Chapman and “Big Girl (You Are Beautiful)” – Mika :D I was so happy I got some new clothes AND my Asos return in the same day that I forgot to bother to accessorise. I prefer simple looks anyway. I have an order pending at the moment from Evans with some shoes, so that I can stop wearing the same pair/bare feet! I’ve gone back to using my proper tripod too.
I have some lace leggings coming from Yours Clothing, hopefully they’ll fit (I ordered a 20/22 but I’m really a 22/24 but the next size up was 24/26! Damn. If they don’t fit I’ll return and get the bigger ones.) I know lace is pretty popular at the moment. Spring will be the first full season I’m going to be “on-style” in, which means plenty of blogging. The thought actually just makes me smile. I’ll be -gasp- trendy. Hah. Perhaps not.
I also have an order pending from Jen’s Fashion Plus, which is run by the lovely Jen of Passion For Plus Size Fashion! I can’t wait to get them, because I’m a facebook fan she also gave me some free postage, which is a god send for someone getting things from the US who lives in the UK! Thanks Jen :)
Okay, so first off, let’s go back to my Asos Curve returns. Yes, I know I left the labels on. I did this incase they still didn’t fit (usually I rip labels off THEN try them on, d’oh.) But I didn’t need to worry about that. Also, I’m still working on varying my poses a bit, I feel like a lemon sometimes just standing there (British saying, to feel like a lemon, I think. Maybe it’s just me.) Excuse my bad hair, I didn’t wash it yesterday and it looks horribly greasy (sometimes, if I know I’m not going out the next day, I’ll skip a day washing just to make sure my hair stays in good condition, natural oils can help condition.)
Firstly, that GOD DAMN SHOULDER PAD TOP.
The one that made my back look like I was smuggling six large legs of beef there.

Ohhh, hello! Two sizes bigger and I think it looks fab. I love the ruching at the front. I think I pull it off better than the model too ;)
Look how much happier I am!
It’s actually a little baggy on the back now, but it’s SO comfy, it’ll be a wicked piece to have out in summer because the material is so soft and light. Size 26, two sizes up from my normal (22, sometimes 24,) just pointing out that sizes are just numbers. Silly numbers!
Also, the cardigan! It fits wonderfully now, the buttons do up properly. It’s really comfy, I really like it :D
Look at the silhouette that the top and cardigan give me. Also, THOSE JEGGINGS <3 One size bigger than normal and they fit perfect. I am so pleased with them now! Comfy, stylish, awesome! There's pockets and a zip+button fly, they're stretchy but feel like really soft skinny jeans. I think it's important for me to note that they're a tad too long for me so they bunch around my ankles, it wouldn't be an issue if they were in boots though rather than me just showing them with bare feet. I'm 5'5", just sayin' :D
The cardigan’s neckline is lovely I think. SO much happier with these now. The jeggings are fine around my bum and calves, which was part of the problem before. The top doesn’t hurt to put it on or off (I’m wearing it now, it’s lovely) and the cardigan is going to be my new go-to cardi I think :D

On to the new clothes!
Alrighty, I don’t think I’ve reviewed or posted anything from Tesco before, they have some really nice stuff. Their main women’s range goes up to a UK22 (like Dorothy Perkins,) however, unlike DP, they also have a plus size range called True, which goes from UK18 to UK28. Nice quality, CHEAP clothing! Not sure if they deliver to the US though, so this might just be for the UK fats.
F&F True Chiffon Panelled Top. This is from their “True” plus size range, it fits nicely and was on sale at something like £10. It has a nice and light weight to it with a red slip. Overall it’s quite comfy, it has a tie which I tied to the side, I’d probably put it at the back if I were going out. Empire-ish fit, the detailing on the bust is a silk replica I think, either way it’s nice. :D I like red.

F&F Lace Top. Now, it’s pretty see-through, so I put a vest under it. Lace is such a big thing at the moment, this top is lovely. It has a really nice effect on the sleeves too, sort of puffed up. It’s pretty and it’s comfy. It’s fairly long.
I wore it at first with a sequin waistcoat I got from Dorothy Perkins but hadn’t worn yet, I tied it at the bottom because it doesn’t have buttons or anything, I thought it looked quite nice with the lace top.
I really like the obvious zip at the back. I didn’t use it, just slipped the top over like any other, but I think it is a nice detail.
Looking happy with my purchase :D It fits well, no problems in the bust or around the tummy. I like the length and it looks really nice with the vest I think. Perhaps I’d wear it with a different coloured vest one day just to give it a bit of extra pop.

F&F Collection Handkerchief Hem Dress. It’s light, it’s flowy, it’s floral! Three great points about a great dress.
The zip on the front is a brilliant detail, I love it. I’d totally wear the dress without the jeggings in the summer, it just SCREAMS summer to me. I really like Tesco’s effort here, it’s from their “normal” range of clothes, not “True,” but still fits in all the right places.
Two thumbs up!
And an action shot. I really enjoy wearing this dress, as I’ve already said, it’s light and will be lovely in the summer, or the warmer days of spring. It still looks good with jeggings though, so I will wear it in the winter too :D

The following two outfits aren’t from Tesco.
This vest I’ve had for a little while. In December I actually ordered a studded SKIRT but they sent me this vest, I never got around to returning it so I just thought “sod it, I’ll keep it.” I added the sequin waistcoat to make it a little shinier, I quite like the look. It’s a nice vest, quite long and well-fitting.

This is a dress I got from someone in the Fatshionista community on Livejournal. It’s really nice, a US 18/20. I think it was originally from Lane Bryant. The v-neck was way too deep at first, it literally went down to the empire band. With small boobs that’s not so nice. So, I used my (very basic) sewing skills and just closed the v-neck a little, now it looks fine!
Dress @ Lane Bryant. However, I got it from a Fat in the Fatshionista community.

My nails at the moment are sporting Agyness from Asos Paints by Ciate. They go on very opaque in just one coat, I prefer to use two or three though. Lovely finish, though the purple is a little overshadowed by its darkness, I’d have preferred a brighter purple, but that’s probably just me. It’s quite subtle, which makes it quite mysterious though.
I thought I’d post a close-up of my tattoo because I haven’t put one on this blog yet I don’t think. It’s a tribalised magpie, I love magpies. Seriously. LOVE THEM. I had it designed just for my use so it’s unique. The symbols (Ogham) on the necklace she’s carrying are Ogham (Ioho and Muin,) meaning loosely freedom/truth and strength/emotion.
No pictures of my kitty today, but have a picture taken in December when I went bowling with a few of my old college friends.
I remember putting on those fake ‘taches in the back of my mate’s car and the three of us in the back (there’s 2 off camera) sloooowly putting the ‘taches on to surprise the two in the front were crying with laughter and ruined the surprise. I ended up unable to breathe from laughing so much. Good times. HARDCORE MOUSTACHES AHOY.
I’m at university this week so may have a chance to post some OOTDs, next week I’m doing my first three night shifts on the ward then a short day on Friday so I may be a bit sleepy! I endeavour to post though, I’ll try.

I really love those jeggings.. I have been wanting them forever and then today the prices go up! I must get them!
They look stunning on you!
There’s a 20% off code ASOSINSTYLE.
Happy shopping :O and thank you!
I love these reviews :) I’m excited by the fact that the jeggings are too long, there’s hope that the jeans/jeggings will fit me! That Tesco drapey dress is gorgeous and surprise moustaches! How amusing
Thanks Stephanie, your comments are appreciated :D The jeggings are (in my opinion, I like them to sit on my ankles) 3 or 4 inches too big for me, so it sounds promising for you :D
Oh no the prices went up? Thanks for the discount code! Will have to get those jeggings, they look super on you.
I didn’t realise the prices went up :( But gl getting the jeggings, they ARE super!
Loving the way the asos curve stuff fits now! I would love to try them but I am already to big for the size range they offer, plus I can find that stuff in the U.S.. I just don’t want to have to send it back to U.K. It cost way to much!
Fair enough :( Not cool about being too big for their range though, I must admit I was expecting a bigger size range myself. Perhaps they’ll expand. The stuff you DID get that you blogged about looked brilliant on you though :D
Hi, love the coral on you! ..and the mustache :))
